All the top players in action during the 2009 tennis season openers
The new tennis season debuts down under with the ATP World Tour 250 event Brisbane International, where both the ATP and the WTA players will do their warm-up before the Australian Open. The draws feature World No. 3, Australian Open and Indian Wells champ Novak Djocovic, while the ladies draw will be lead by the reining French Open and Indian Wells winner Ana Ivanovic. The highlight of the week will be the classic Qatar ExxonMobil Open in Doha, whose superfield will feature World No. 1 Rafael Nadal, No.2 Roger Federer and No. 4 Andy Murray, who is the defending champion. World No. 5 Nikolay Davydenko will be the top seed in the Indian Chennai Open, the third tournament of the week.
